Showing

I have been very successful in the show ring.  Throughout my Youth and Adult career I have won numerous ROM and Superior awards in many different events, a Youth Champion award, and many year end high point awards on the Paint Circuit.  I am ready to pass that knowledge onto you!  We had a great year with plenty of ribbons!  Our 2009 Show Team included:  Erika Sharp and Sonnys Whim in the Youth 14-18, Kaitlyn Curtis and Stars and Kisses in the Walk/Trot, and Sam Wort and Stars and Kisses in leadline.  Good Job everyone on all your hard work and dedication.  I'm looking forward to next show season!

If you would like to join our team contact me today!

Erika and Jet did really well at their first show.  Jet is starting to get the hang of trailering to these new places!  He was very quiet all day and rode very well for us.  He is also turning into a great Showmanship horse.  Erika has been working extremely hard to achieve her goals and all that hard work is starting to pay off.  Good Job guys!

Kashmir and I at his first show

Kashmir did very well this year.  He is turning into a nice quiet Gelding.  He's very easy to get along with and his lope has really come along.  We won every Western Pleasure class we went in!  He will make a great Youth horse for someone.  Look for us at all the local Paint shows next year.  Also check him out under Horses For Sale.

Kaitlyn and April

Kaitlyn and April did very well at their first show of the year!  They placed 5th in Halter with about 12 entries and 3rd in Showmanship with about 8 entries.  They would have done well in the riding classes.  Unfortunately a big storm blew in and we had to pack up and leave!  I am very proud of them and we're looking forward to our next show.  Keep up the good work guys!

Kelsey and Bars

Kelsey and Bars also did very well at their first show.  Kelsey placed 6th in Halter with about 10 entries and 4th in showmanship with about 8 entries.  She also would have done very well in the riding classes.  Her and Bars looked great and we are looking forward to showing again!

Zach and Bars

Zach and Bars got along well at the show!  At five-years-old he's already a pro.  He placed 2nd in Leadline Showmanship and 3rd in Leadline Western Pleasure.  The best part of the day was when the judge asked him what his horses ate and he told her "Apples and Carrots!"  What a cutie!

Erika and Jet also did well at their 2nd show this year.  She placed 6th in the Open Payback Showmanship with about 12 entries.  A little more work and they will be winning these classes!  She also placed 5th in her Youth Showmanship class.  She also recently showed at a Paint show in Rochester.  With their best placings yet, they received 4th under the 1st judge and 7th under the 2nd judge with 10 people in the class.  She also got a 5th and 6th in her Showmanship class.  Great Job guys!

Kaitlyn and April did very well at their last show of the year.  She's starting to excell in the Hunter Under Saddle.  We finally got those diagonals down!  Her and April have made quite a team.  Good Job guys and Good Luck next year!

Zach (left) and Sam (right) did awesome in their leadline classes.  It was Sam's first show and he won his leadline Showmanship class!  He also placed well in the leadline Horsemanship.  All his hard work this Summer paid off.  Good Job Sam!
